Enjoying brunch or breakfast at home has become a favorite pastime, and this recipe is a great one to try: English Muffin Salmon Sliders. These small, flavorful sandwiches are perfect for a relaxed weekend meal or a brunch gathering.
For this recipe I used Dave’s Killer Bread Killer Classic English Muffins, which bring a hearty texture and wholesome ingredients that make assembling a grazing board easy and delicious.

English Muffin Salmon Sliders Board
I look for foods that taste great, are versatile, and support a healthy lifestyle. These English muffins fit the bill: they’re USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, and they are made without bleached flour or high-fructose corn syrup. The nooks and crannies of the muffins are perfect for holding cream cheese, melted butter, aioli, or jam—making them an especially good base for sliders.

These sliders are designed to be both simple and elegant: herb-roasted salmon, creamy avocado basil aioli, buttery ghee, eggs, and thick-cut bacon—assembled on toasted English muffins alongside fresh vegetables and herbs.

Brunch At Home Is The Next Best Thing
With more time spent at home, brunch has moved outdoors to decks and backyard retreats. Add soft music, a comfortable setup, and a well-arranged grazing board, and you have an inviting brunch experience. Preparing these sliders at home gives you both flavor and peace of mind—fresh ingredients, balanced nutrition, and a satisfying meal.

Use the muffins as the canvas for your sliders and add a variety of fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, peppers, red onions, and basil. The result is a colorful, flavorful brunch board everyone can enjoy.

I use the Killer Classic English Muffins with 8g whole grains per muffin. For these sliders I top toasted muffins with avocado aioli, egg, bacon, red onion, sliced cucumber, herb-roasted salmon, and fresh basil. The muffins are versatile enough for breakfast, lunch, or dinner variations.

What You Will Need
English Muffins. Choose a quality English muffin with a sturdy texture that toasts well.
Salmon. Any cooking method works—grill, pan-sear, or bake. The baked herb salmon below is easy and yields tender, flavorful fish perfect for slicing into sliders.
Bacon. Thick-cut bacon crisped up adds savory crunch. Options like turkey bacon or vegan bacon can be used for different dietary needs.
Eggs. Prepare eggs to your liking—fried, poached, or scrambled all pair nicely with salmon and aioli.
Avocado Aioli. Homemade avocado basil aioli brightens the sliders with creaminess and fresh herb flavor. Recipe included below.
Vegetables. Fresh cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, tri-colored peppers, red onions, and fresh basil are great additions to the board.

Baked Herb Salmon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (or preferred seafood seasoning)
- 3–4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 3–4 sprigs fresh lemon-thyme or English thyme
- 3–4 sprigs fresh savory
- 6–8 large sweet basil leaves
- Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- If the salmon is not completely fresh, rinse briefly under cold water and pat dry. Otherwise, no rinsing is necessary.
- Brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil, then season with Old Bay, kosher salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange rosemary, thyme, and savory sprigs on the foil. Place salmon skin-side down on top, then tuck basil and remaining herbs over the fillet.
- Bake on the middle rack for about 30–35 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven and let rest briefly before flaking or slicing for sliders.

Avocado Basil Aioli
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil or light extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili-lime seasoning (or a pinch of cayenne and lime zest)
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 5 large fresh basil leaves
- Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a container and refrigerate until ready to use. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly on the surface and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.

To assemble the sliders: toast the English muffins, spread avocado basil aioli on each half, add a portion of herb-roasted salmon, top with egg and bacon if using, and finish with sliced cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil. Arrange on a grazing board for a beautiful brunch presentation.

These English Muffin Salmon Sliders elevate a simple brunch into something special. Using quality muffins and fresh ingredients makes all the difference. Serve them at your next breakfast or brunch and enjoy a flavorful, satisfying meal at home.
